The Director will also assist in determining the most effective implementation of risk mitigation strategies for the Institute, while maintaining effective relationships with the Director of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), AVP for Public Safety and Emergency Management, the Director of Information Security, Human Resources, Export Controls and the Office of General Counsel in order to evaluate and implement enhancements in all areas relating to risk.ĭirector, Export Control & Research Security The Director will work closely with the AVP for Finance in facilitating the Institute’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Internal Audit programs. The Director has responsibility for coordination of the Institute’s annual insurance renewal, claims coordination and processing, contract review, and processing and monitoring of all insurance related expenses. The Director of Risk Management is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing administration of the Institute’s risk management and insurance programs.
